Welcome to BidMyTint. These Terms of Service govern your use of the BidMyTint website, platform, and related services. By accessing or using BidMyTint, you agree to these Terms.

1. About BidMyTint

BidMyTint is a marketplace platform designed to connect customers seeking window film services with independent window film contractors.

BidMyTint provides technology that allows customers to submit project information and allows participating contractors to review opportunities and submit bids or proposals.

2. Marketplace Role

BidMyTint is not the contractor performing the window film installation unless explicitly stated otherwise. Contractors using the platform operate as independent businesses and are responsible for their own work, licensing, insurance, permits, pricing, warranties, employees, and compliance with applicable laws.

Any agreement for installation or related services is between the customer and the contractor selected for the project.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to provide accurate project and contact information. Measurements, photographs, descriptions, and other information submitted through the platform should be as accurate as reasonably possible.

Customers are responsible for reviewing contractor proposals and deciding which contractor, if any, they wish to hire.

4. Contractor Responsibilities

Contractors are responsible for the accuracy of their bids, pricing, availability, qualifications, licensing, insurance, installation work, warranties, and communications with customers.

Contractors must comply with all laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and professional obligations applicable to the services they provide.

5. Project Information and Measurements

Project measurements, photographs, estimates, calculations, or other information provided through BidMyTint are intended to assist customers and contractors with the bidding process.

Contractors are responsible for confirming measurements, conditions, materials, and installation requirements before performing work or entering into a final agreement with a customer.

6. Payments and Platform Fees

Customers may submit projects, receive proposals, and compare participating contractors without paying a project submission fee.

After a customer selects a contractor and decides to move forward with a project, a Project Confirmation Payment is required through BidMyTint. The applicable payment amount will be clearly displayed to the customer before the payment is completed.

After the Project Confirmation Payment is successfully completed, BidMyTint may release the customer's protected contact information to the selected contractor and the selected contractor's contact information to the customer so the parties can communicate directly and move forward with the project.

The Project Confirmation Payment is a BidMyTint platform payment and is separate from the contractor's price for window film products, installation, or other services unless expressly stated otherwise.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

The Project Confirmation Payment may be eligible for a refund if the customer cancels before BidMyTint releases the customer's protected contact information to the selected contractor and the selected contractor's contact information to the customer.

Once BidMyTint has released the parties' contact information and established the connection between the customer and the selected contractor, the Project Confirmation Payment is generally non-refundable because the BidMyTint confirmation and connection service has been provided.

BidMyTint may, at its discretion, issue a full or partial refund in exceptional circumstances, including duplicate payments, payment processing errors, suspected fraud, contractor unavailability before the connection is completed, or other circumstances BidMyTint determines warrant a refund.

Cancellation of the window film project after the customer and contractor have been connected does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund of the Project Confirmation Payment. Any payments made directly to a contractor are subject to the customer's separate agreement with that contractor.

8. User Conduct

Users may not use BidMyTint to submit fraudulent information, impersonate another person or business, interfere with the operation of the platform, misuse customer or contractor information, or engage in unlawful activity.

9. Privacy

Your use of BidMyTint is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

10. No Guarantee of Contractor Selection or Project Awards

BidMyTint does not guarantee that a customer will receive a particular number of bids, that a contractor will be selected, or that a contractor will receive any particular number of projects.

11. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, update, or discontinue portions of the platform when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, business operations, or improvements.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BidMyTint is not responsible for the acts, omissions, workmanship, representations, pricing, delays, property damage, disputes, or other conduct of independent contractors or customers using the platform.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
